Design Development for fashion garments, I made some changes for my final designs.
Work from Minor Project 2012 mood board, market research board, colour board and my own drawing sheets. I have taken my own photographs of nature and man made industrial and combined them togther to make designs for fashion garments.
These are my latest designs I have created.
Screen printing technique inspiration from natural forms floras and foilage. Used acid dyes procion which are dyes for fabrics, used procesums which are different colour pigments to create your design on to fabric. Used minafoam which makes the design of your fabric have a 3D affect and feels soft and furry and silver foil which gives a shiny affect.
Foliage drawings which have been transferred into Embellished designs, created by sewing machine and hand stitching.Technique used was applique, used same colours to the drawings to create the exact drawings by sewing.
All observational drawing of foilage using different techniques, media and different paper. Greaseproof paper, foil, tracing paper and cardridge paper. Indian ink, gouache paint, sketching pencil, fine liner, oil pastels,coffee staining for some of the background and wax crayons.
